The All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2027 is a highly competitive national-level examination for BAMS graduates aspiring to pursue MD / MS courses in Ayurveda. Success in AIAPGET requires consistent efforts, comprehensive knowledge of Samhitas, and systematic conceptual understanding.

AIAPGET 2027 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

The exam consists of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying 480 marks, to be completed in 120 minutes. Negative marking is applicable (-1 mark for wrong answers). The syllabus is based on the CCIM/NCISM BAMS curriculum:

  • Major Samhitas: Charaka Samhita (Purvardha & Uttarardha), Sushruta Samhita, Vagbhata (Astanga Hridaya & Sangraha).
  • Minor Samhitas: Sharangadhara, Madhava Nidana, Bhava Prakasha, Kashyapa Samhita.
  • Allied Subjects: Dravyaguna, Rasa Shastra, Kaumarbhritya, Prasuti Tantra, Shalakya Tantra, Shalya Tantra, Kayachikitsa, Research Methodology & Medical Statistics.

AIAPGET 2027 FAQ

AIAPGET 2027 is expected to be conducted around July or August 2027. Registration usually opens 2 months prior to the exam date.

Candidates must possess a BAMS degree from a recognized institution and complete their 1-year compulsory rotatory internship by the designated cutoff date announced by the NCISM/AACCC.
